Prithipal S. Sethi, MD
Board Certified Urologist
Dr. Prithipal Sethi received his Bachelors of Science degree from University of California Berkeley in Cell and Molecular Biology. He received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Medical College of Wisconsin. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Sethi specializes in novel treatments for Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH) and is a leader in minimally invasive prostate procedures in Northern California. He is also a lead researcher for emerging treatments in BPH and because of his prostate treatment volume, he has been awarded Center of Excellence awards for multiple procedures. Thomas Sorbera, MD
Board Certified Urologist
Dr. Thomas Sorbera was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, where he attended college at Baylor University in Waco, TX, majoring in biology. He then received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston. Dr. Sorbera then completed his residency at Ochsner/LSU in New Orleans. Where he started their Laparoscopic Urologic program in 2000. He moved to the Golden State of California in 2001 where he started in private practice. Simran Sethi MD, MBA
Women’s Health
Dr. Simran Sethi is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician with advanced training in women’s health, aesthetic and sexual medicine. Dr. Sethi utilizes an integrative approach that focuses on women’s overall well being and not just symptom management.
Ricky Villena
Practice Administrator
Ricky Villena is Golden State Urology’s Practice Administrator. He has been in a management role within the Health Industry since 2010. Ricky is a native Northern Californian and alumni of San Jose State University with a degree in Psychology. His passion for Health Care derives from the influence of multiple family members who have careers in the field and their desire to support others. Ricky promotes a positive environment and surrounds himself with individuals who share the same mentality.
Rex Chan, MSN
FNP-C
Rex attended UC Davis where he received a BS in biology before moving on to attend Samuel Merritt University completing his RN licensure and receiving his Masters in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Rex previously worked in a very busy family practice office and understands the importance of providing excellent patient care and a positive patient experience. Rex will be working closely with our physicians to assist with patient care and provide individual assistance to patients, families and caregivers to help identify and overcome barriers which may hinder quality medical care
Rex was born and raised in Northern California and has been in the Sacramento area for over 10 years. In his spare time he enjoys working out travel and spending time with friends and family.
